Groom's Quarters

The Groom's Quarters is located above the 1850 carriage house and features a private second-story landing perfect for al fresco breakfast in nice weather, has a cathedral ceiling, and exposed original wood timbers with working fireplace at the foot of the queen-size antique acorn bed and modern private bath with tub/shower.  The B&B rate for this large room is $250 per night and optional four course prie-fixe dinner is usually available by reservation most evenings at $49 per person.

The Groom's Quarters was originally used by visiting slaves, usually grooms or drivers bringing guests to plantation social events at Prospect Hill.  Prior to the 1988 renovation into guest accommodations it was used to store hay.
