This large former master bedroom has its own private veranda overlooking the arboretum and lawns and features a double Jacuzzi bathtub, working fireplace, and queen-sized four-poster wheat and tobacco bed.  The Overton room is located upstairs in the 1840 wing of the manor house, is named after William and Martha Gilliam Overton who were the third owners of Prospect Hill with their descendents Capt. Wm. G. and Nancy Giles Overton and their children William. Frances, and Marcie over three generations from 1840 until 1969.

The B&B rate for this room is $295 per night with optional dinner available at $49 per person.
