From the moment we arrived, “T” and James welcomed us with the kind of hospitality you rarely find anymore, warm, genuine, and clearly rooted in pride for both the property and the guests who pass through it. The grounds have a peacefulness that stays with you long after you leave. Early mornings walking the paths, you can feel the history in the trees, the quiet corners of the estate, and the thoughtful care that keeps this place so beautifully preserved. Our room was cozy and inviting, prepared with attention to detail and that perfect blend of historic charm and modern comfort. Breakfast was exceptional, fresh, beautifully prepared, and served with the kind of kindness that makes you feel like family. Every interaction, whether with “T” or the rest of the team, reinforced the same impression: these are people who care deeply about what they do, and it shows in every part of the experience. Prospect Hill isn’t just a place to stay. It’s a place where true hospitality is still practiced the right way, with heart, pride, and a sense of welcome that’s hard to find. This is my wife's and my fourth stay at Prospect Hill spanning 43 years and we've treasured each visit.

The location is perfect. The rooms are top-notch. The proprietors are amazing and the staff is so friendly. The food is delicious. The property is beautifully decorated and well-kept. I felt so welcome and will definitely return. 1000% recommend Prospect Hill Inn!

We originally had a room planned in the main house but needed to bring our dog at the last minute and Tee was able to get us in one of their fantastic cottages! The cottage was amazing and so clean and had everything we needed. There were even dog supplies. The linens were fabulous and it seemed like Jim and Tee thought of everything. Top notch! One of the best B & B experiences we have had. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the food was delicious. I can’t say enough good things about Prospect Hill! We’ll be back:)

James and “T” were very welcoming, the room was quaint, spotless and quiet, and the homemade breakfast and fresh coffee served each morning were a major highlight. The property is amazingly well kept and thankfully very pet friendly. Our dog enjoyed the nature trail walks as well as the stay. We planned day trips through our stay, so unfortunately, we were unable to enjoy all the plentiful amenities available to us.
